Flutes, piccolos, harmony flutes, and headjoints — new, used, and on consignment. We're flute-family only, on purpose: we'd rather do this one thing carefully than spread thin across the wind family.

Conk Wind Repair is owned and operated by Kevin Conk in Sarasota, Florida. Kevin has been a flutist for fifteen years and a repair technician for four. Every instrument we sell or service passes through his hands.

Submit the form on the Trial Program page. We confirm availability within one business day and quote your shipping cost (with package protection included). We ship up to three instruments at a time. You play them at home for five days. On day six, keep one and we apply your card, or send them all back using the same insured carrier. No restocking fee.

Yes. We notify the owner before we send their instrument out on a trial and won't ship without their approval each time. Most owners approve within 24 hours.

You ship in with our pre-paid label, we photograph, list, and sell. The split is 70/30 in your favor — you keep 70% of every sale. If the instrument needs work to be performance-ready, the repair cost is yours; or list it as-is and we'll price accordingly. Any small bench work during the consignment period is deducted from the final sale price. Payout within seven business days of the sale clearing.

Yes — most of our work is mail-in. Book a Mail-in Repair Intake on the Repair page; we send a pre-paid shipping label and packing instructions. Diagnostic within 48 hours of arrival, written estimate before any work begins. Typical timing: COA in 5–7 business days, full overhaul in 3–5 weeks.
