Try an instrument the way you should — at home, for five days.

Any instrument that's fully functional and in stock is available to trial. Five days at home with the music you actually play. Shipping (with package protection included) is paid by you.

A short form: what you currently play, your budget, and the in-stock instruments on your shortlist. We confirm availability within one business day. If any of your picks are consignment instruments, we contact the owner first — most approve a trial within 24 hours, and we'll keep you posted either way.

Five days at home. Keep one, or send them back. Play them in your space, with your music. On day six, decide. Keep one and we apply your card. Or send them all back using the same insured carrier and label. No restocking fee on returns.

We prep, pack, and ship: Up to three instruments — any fully functional flute, piccolo, or headjoint on our shelf, including consignment pieces once we have the owner's go-ahead. Each is bench-checked, cleaned, and packed by us. Shipping is yours, with package protection included so the instruments are insured at full retail value while in transit. We'll quote your exact shipping cost before we send, and we put a credit-card hold for the value of the highest-priced instrument in the trial.

What we ask

A credit-card hold for the value of the highest-priced instrument in your trial. The hold is released within 48 hours of return. Shipping (with package protection) is yours — we'll quote it exactly before we ship, no surprises. The five days start the day FedEx (or UPS) marks the package delivered; we send a return reminder on day three.

Can I trial something I've never played?

Yes. That's exactly what the trial is for.

How long is the trial?

Five days from delivery confirmation. We send a return reminder on day three.
